Tuesday, 12th February 2019
APG’s Charity and Events Manager – Brooke Onley braved the cold in Canberra last Thursday to made a visit to the RMHC House.
The Canberra house is mainly utilised by families with premature newborns as the Centenary Hospital for Women and Children in Canberra has an amazing NICU department.
In the quiet room of this house has an amazing display called the butterfly wall. This beautiful display has been created over the year by the families that have stayed at the Ronald McDonald House in Canberra, each butterfly has been placed by a family that has continued on from their stay at Ronald McDonald House.
“It is always a wonderful experience going through these amazing house and seeing how they manage to make a comfortable space for the families going through hard times” – Brooke
