APG Ingleburn branch staff have some fun in the sun
Wednesday, 22nd August 2018
The APG team in Ingleburn had a lovely afternoon painting in the sun as part of a team building exercise run by the Shane and Danielle at Mates Puzzles.
Mates puzzles was founded by Danielle Mate Sullivan and Shane Sullivan as a new and innovative program in NSW. Over the 2hrs participants are encouraged to share their stories and paint a positive representation of themselves. The Mates Puzzles program shares the message of unity, connection and supports the need for reconciliation and 'Closing The Gap'. "Mates puzzles was a fantastic team building exercise encouraging us to share our stories with our co workers"
The concept behind Mates Puzzles is to enhance learning about indigenous culture and our own culture highlighting the notion we are all connect and part of the puzzle.
The program uses positive creative expression to solidify the connection between a team, workplace and the land and communities in which we are from.
“We all had a fantastic time learning new skills and having a laugh with each other, by the end everyone was so much more relaxed.” – Brooke (Charity and Events Manager)
